The one-stop harmonica shop

If anything about diatonic or chromatic harmonicas appeals to you, or if you're just curious about whether the harmonica is a musical instrument as opposed to a kazoo-class musical novelty, then www.harmonicalessons.com should be bookmarked in your browser.

Dave Gage runs the best harmonica site on the Web. He's made a living with and from the harmonica for many years. One reason why I like the man is that awhile back, when it first became popular to expose young children to classical music as a stimulus to early brain development, Dave taught his youngest son to sing several Elvis tunes, because by the Gage definition, those are classics.

His web site is packed with playing tips, gear advice, and tablature for almost every musical style: Rock, Blues, Folk, and Country are all there.

Now that I've finally added the thing to my sidebar, I figure he deserves this commercial.
