He can be quite the pharisee, but he also has frequent moments of speaking truth to power, which is why I think this from "Diogenes" needs a trademark "heh" of the kind for which Glenn is famous:
"Give us the courage to dream ..." Methinks anyone who offers that particular prayer has all his dreams quite in order, thank you very much, and is not so much beseeching the Lord for a favor as obliquely chiding his more cautious brethren to accept the progressive vision of the future as God's will.
...Not that there's any shortage of lunacy in the communion that Diogenes and I share, either.
(Glenn doesn't have time for a "heh" right now, because he's shoveling the Augean stables as we head into Labor Day weekend, aka trying to keep the New York Times honest).
