Remember that study?

The one purporting to prove that self-identified liberals think better than self-identified conservatives?

Bookworm was an early critic, for good reason. "Smart, verbal people have the unfortunate ability to use those skills to reason themselves into believing something they know is wrong," she noted. This kind of thing may be a case in point (and you'll find more about shenanigans in Dearborn at LGF).

William Saletan of Slate now says the study was a) rigged, and b) not actually able to prove what the press thought it did.
