Bookworm, you're not alone. My brother and I really like the band ABBA, too. He's seen the ABBA tribute band "Bjorn Again" in concert. I have not. But "Super Trouper" is easily the equal of any other song about the life of a performing musician, right up there with Jackson Browne's "Stay" and Bob Seger's "Turn the Page."
Elsewhere in the ABBA catalog, the harmonies in "Chiquitita" can still move me to tears, "Knowing Me, Knowing You" continues to pack an honest punch, and "Fernando" is hard to beat for nostalgia.
