Weirdly transparent spin

Hillary Clinton did not lie about being exposed to sniper fire in Bosnia; she merely "misspoke."

What's still unexplained is whether it really was White House policy for Billy Jeff Clinton to send his wife into places where it was too dangerous for him to go (!).

Sinbad and Sheryl Crow were traveling with Hillary on that Bosnia trip, and the funny man had a point when he asked why a president would send "a guitar player and a comedian" into a dangerous area. His great line in full: What kind of president would say, 'Hey, man, I can't go 'cause I might get shot, so I'm going to send my wife...oh, and take a guitar player and a comedian with you.' "

It gets better: To Hillary's craven spokesman Howard Wolfson, "potential combat zone" is synonymous with "on the front lines."

Hey Howard: everywhere on Earth is a potential combat zone.

I guess we're all on the front lines, huh?
