Barack Obama did not sound outraged at his now-retired pastor (we who are of Irish and Mexican extraction know from outrage), but to his credit, he finally said he was, and I believe him even while continuing to question his judgment. When adamantine ambition fuses with gossamer-thin experience, skeptics do that.
