The weather guy says today's high was about 28 degrees, and this time, I believe him. No Motown on the household soundtrack today, though. Nothing against the Motown sound; we like it. But while making a late breakfast this morning, I listened to most of the music in the sidebar. Badfinger's "Baby Blue" is a good cold weather tune, and I've always been partial to the gunfighter ballad "El Paso."
After Thomas and Jane got tired of sledding down the closest hill, they parked themselves on our sofa for some fun with the Beatles edition of "Rock Band." By then even the family pets were sacked out. We have beer and milk, but sadly, we're out of Coffee Mate.
